A downloadable game for Windows and macOS

The world is dead. The Forest rules. When bandits kidnap your people, you set out on a journey to save your family, armed with an unnecessarily large wrench, the worst team ever and an awful sense of humour.

A powerful, industrial civilisation used to rule the world but now it is gone, and the planet is covered by the toxic Forest. The remnants of the human race live in the Wasteland among the ruins of old factories, wrecked airships and dusty railways, fighting each other and struggling with the abominable monsters the Forest spawns every night.

The choices you make will shape the world around you, for good or for bad. Your enemies could become your friends, and your friends could become your enemies. Whichever path you choose, it will lead you deep into the Wasteland, where answers to the greatest mysteries wait to be discovered: Why did the old world fall? Where did the toxic Forest come from? And what is actually going on in the Flying City of Manchester?

Features:

  • Deep and mysterious story of the long-gone civilisation
  • Non-linear plot that starts branching at the very beginning
  • Negotiate your way through the Wasteland, fight if you have to
  • Crazy Peculiar characters, including a samurai with an annoyingly strong sense of duty, a mechanic girl who wants to UPGRADE THINGS with her large wrench and a prince who values his coat more than his life
  • Choices shape relationships between the main characters

  • Annoying comments from the creators
  • Was made by a crew of 3 space pirates

Hi, thank you for telling us about this! We've reuploaded the game files, so everything should be fine this time. We hope you enjoy our game! Can't wait for your feedback!

Impressive to see a game of such size made in Godot. My playthrough is rude and annoying and for the longest time I didn't realize that it is a comedy game by its nature. I try to make excuses but oh well.

The RAM use seems a bit extreme. Not a problem on my machine but others? The loading screen's worst problem is how long the first 1% takes. There were some spelling mistakes.

Worst bugs for me:

1. you can soft lock yourself by blocking yourself by an NPC and if it's too close to you, you can't select it. Switch NPCs by clicking profile instead? Or allow walking through NPCs? (yes)

2. Some tasks don't add a quest, leaving you unsure what to do if you didn't pay attention (screw those players, right? :D - spoiler: I'm that kind of player) specifically wasn't sure what to do in the forest at times and what to do once I found out how to get the engine but not what to do next about it.

Notwithstanding my ranting in the video, I'd be glad if I had the skills and perseverance to create the code, art or writing this game has.

Hi! Thank you so much for such a thorough review and for all the bugs spotted!! Your video is amazing and we enjoyed every bit of it! We were delighted to see that you’ve played through all the chapters of our lengthy and sometimes annoying demo. We hope you wouldn't mind if we are going to steal some of the phrases you used and hide them somewhere in the game (I mean, a self-reflective, self-ironic, self-sarcastic game? That's just a PERFECT description of what's actually going on)

I'm relieved - please take all the quotes you need, and more! :D
